Fruita Analogica
Dido & Jurriaan are a Dutch couple who share many passions but most importantly, they both love wine. They’ve traveled across the world making wine ultimately settling in the Alt-Empordà region of Spain, where through a crowdfunding campaign they bought 10 hectares of planted vines in the natural reserve of Albera. They live amidst their vines where their home and winery are completely self-sufficient using solar power and drawing water from their well. They’re currently farming Garnacha, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Tannat, and Barbera. All of their work in the vineyard is done organically while their wines are made without additives in the cellar. 2018 marked the first vintage making wine from their own grapes focusing on restoring the vineyards, converting them to biodynamics, and grafting to other (white) varieties.
